The latter includes techniques to provide 'split-screen' advertising on the same large format screens as flight information. The DVD-quality advertising, driven by sophisticated satellite delivery, allows video, animation and static material to be sent remotely and instantly to the screens.
We are also partnering with an advertising company to build a dynamic advertising walls within the terminal.
Airports Company South Africa's O.R. Tambo International Airport has consolidated its advertising space into bigger, more impactful advertising structures in the airport environment. We are also moving towards creating opportunities for brand reinforcement by setting up brand zones or areas with naming rights for specific brands - so that advertisers can establish brand dominance. We believe this will increase the number of large advertising spenders who typically seek such opportunities.
