Infrastructure programme

Historically, the approach adopted by ACSA was based on the five pillars of ownership, management, employment equity, skills development, procurement and corporate social investment.

ACSA implemented a scorecard weighted largely in favour of ownership (45 percent), which was independently audited by practising auditors, and was a prerequisite for awarding tenders.

Since adoption of the target, there has been a noticeable transformation by our suppliers. Pilot projects to provide multi-year appointments, with the objective not only of providing consistent quality support, but also facilitating increased transformation especially at the management and lower level technical skills base.
