Airports Company South Africa SOC Ltd (the Group) owns and operates South Africa’s nine principal airports, including three international gateways; O.R. Tambo, Cape Town and King Shaka International Airports

O.R Tambo International

O.R. Tambo International Airport, previously known as Johannesburg International Airport, is Africa’s biggest and busiest airport, facilitating over 21 million passengers a year.

Cape Town International

Cape Town International Airport is Africa’s 3rd largest airport. It is also Africa’s premier tourist and VIP destination and has established a reputation as Africa’s premier international award-winning airport.

King Shaka International

The King Shaka International Airport is now 10 years in operation and celebrated our 10 year anniversay on 1 May 2020.

Bram Fischer International

Bram Fischer International Airport was officially renamed Bram Fischer International Airport by President Jacob Zuma at an historic event held at the airport on 13 December 2012.

Chief David Stuurman International Airport

Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport is situated within five minutes drive from the central business district and the beach front and no more than ten minutes from other areas of importance in the city.

Upington International Airport

The airport has three runways, the primary one measuring 4,900 metres (the longest civilian runway in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the few able to land a space shuttle).

King Phalo Airport

Between 20 and 30 flights land at King Phalo Airport each day with 620,000 people welcomed each year. The airport is also a crucial link in the cargo chain, playing an important role in the growing economy of the Eastern Cape.

George Airport

The town of George lies halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth on South Africa’s ever-popular Garden Route. George airport now welcomes over 800,000 passengers each year.

Kimberley Airport

Kimberley Airport lies at the heart of the Northern Cape, in a town most famous for the ‘Big Hole’, a landmark carved into the earth by early diamond prospectors.
