Bram Fischer International Airport was officially renamed Bram Fischer International Airport by President Jacob Zuma at an historic event held at the airport on 13 December 2012.
Airports Company South Africa welcomes the announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa about the gradual lifting of restrictions on international flights under Alert Level 1 from 1 October. As has been the practice since March this year, we will be guided by specific regulations and directives from the Department of Transport and the regulating body, the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) as they are published in the coming days.
