Executive, and Business & Technology Strategy Leader, with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. A strategic thinker, customer-centric leader and digital business champion, that specialises in technology alignment, business capability transformation and digital leadership.
Mr. Makhubela embodies visionary leadership and is committed to empowering others, digital business enablement and enabling sustainable business growth.
With extensive expertise in IT Strategic leadership, he has successfully led information and
technology teams across both the public and private sectors, holding senior management, lead
consulting, and program/project management roles at organizations such as Old Mutual,
Special Investigating Unit (SIU), State Information Technology Agency (SITA), University of South
Africa (UNISA), National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC), and INSETA.
Mr. Makhubela holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stellenbosch business School, BCom (Informatics) from UNISA, Professional Certificate in CIO Practices from Wits, and a BSc (Chemistry) from UCT. He is currently studying towards his MPhil in Development Finance at Stellenbosch Business School.
