Mr Solomon Mokoena Solomon Otja Mokoena joined Airports Company South Africa in 2025, bringing more than 28 years of leadership and professional experience in engineering, infrastructure development, capital investment, and programme management.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) with an MBA in Finance from the University of Pretoria (UP), Solomon has built his career at the intersection of engineering, finance, and strategy. He combines technical expertise, commercial acumen, and analytical capability to lead complex infrastructure and strategic investment programmes across the energy, petrochemical, transport, industrial, aviation, and public infrastructure sectors.

His experience extends beyond South Africa, having contributed to major international infrastructure and energy initiatives while leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver sustainable business outcomes.

At ACSA, Solomon is committed to strengthening the organisation's capital investment capability to support the delivery of a world-class airport system. His focus is on enhancing capital project delivery, strengthening investment governance, building organisational capability, and ensuring that infrastructure investments contribute to safe, secure, resilient, customer-centric, and commercially sustainable airports.

Guided by the principles of integrated airport management, Solomon believes that successful infrastructure investment is measured not only by the projects delivered but by the long-term value created for passengers, airlines, employees, shareholders, regulators, and the communities ACSA serves.
