ACSA confirms flight disruptions at King Phalo Airport due to inclement weather conditions
Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) wishes to inform passengers of significant flight disruptions at King Phalo Airport (KPA) due to inclement weather conditions with a low cloud base that is below 100 feet.
Earlier today, some affected flights were redirected to King Shaka International Airport (KSIA) and Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport (CDSIA) for the safety and convenience of passengers. Additionally, other airports within the ACSA network, including O.R. Tambo International Airport (ORTIA), have also been impacted by these weather conditions.
Passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest updates regarding the status of their flights.
ACSA sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused and is working closely with airlines and aviation authorities to manage the situation. The safety and well-being of all passengers remain our top priority.
