About Us

Airports Company South Africa does not only provide airlines with world-class, secure infrastructure - we also promote tourism, economic growth and job creation.
South Africa’s airports were owned and operated by the state until 23 July 1993, when Airport Company South Africa was established and nine airports were transferred to the company.
Our vision is to be a world-leading airport business.

We will strive for excellence in all our business undertakings and continue to grow and diversify in an environment of rapidly changing markets, macro economic challenges and a volatile airline/aviation industry.

Airports Company South Africa’s strategy is to build an efficient and customer-focused business, in line with its vision of being a world-leading airport business. The group structure reflects this commitment to our strategy on all levels.
